How about going with "These objects are released to the public domain. If your country's legislation does not allow for this kind of software, please use the creative commons guidelines instead".

Dex: That's exactly what CC0 says. It says "This is PD. If this can't be PD in your legislation, you're permitted to do everything you can be permitted to do under your legislation." See it at their site.

Have a pair of midi buses - a coach version and one suitable for stage carriage work etc. Plain paintwork, easy to customise.

Download here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59304651/Merc-Midi%20bus.zip

Folder contains .b3d and .csv files for both variations.

So, I'm making a two axle rigid based on a Scania P320. I've done the cab and the chassis but not the body (it will be a box van, possibly a fridge). Then I wondered, how about lettin it out as a Chassis/cab so users can add their own bodywork.

Download the file here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59304651/ScaniaP230.7z

I finally managed to catch up on you guys, the objects can now be found at brnobve.eu. There is also a new blog entry announcing that, so I hope nobody will miss out!  Smile

Thank you Dex for hosting my carriage :lol:However, as Gray pointed out in the quote above, that's a specialised object, no tank for milk or stuff ;-)

Putting the trucks to one side I'm nearly finished with a more urgently desired Plaxton coach, here's how it's looking right now.

And the "other end"

Modern stuff's not always too hard to build, here's something a bit more challenging. I'm using bits from about 20 different pics found on the web, and a lot of Photoshop layers!!

Yes, well! The preservation society is growing cannabis inside the bus to pay for essential repairs  Very Happy  By a strange coincidence I just sorted those downstairs windows, pasted some replacements from another picture in a layer with a bit of opacity and merged them. That 'decker is a complicated beast and is taking longer than expected, I've done 12 hours on it today alone.

This is what a real one looks like:

Add on hazard beacon (.animated format) suitable for any of the vehicle objects.

Hm, Škoda Octavia III vehicle... that would look authentic in my route I suppose. :-D I will need to change the ID plates, though. Is that allowed?

How did you code the beacons? Looks to me like it is not a state change, fades in and out...

You can be an international car thief and steal the skoda and switch the plates - don't let the Státní bezpečnost catch you  Cool

Download the item, you'll see how I coded them, it's very simple.

The video shows the beacons in full light fading to darkness and returning back to full light  - the "L" key in route viewer. (The beacons themselves have night-time textures as well as glows). The zipfile to download includes two animated beacons - only difference is rate of flashing, plus the start states are reversed. So, like on the tipper truck, you can fit one of each and they won't work in step, ot fit two the same and they will synchronise.
I fitted one on my Hitachi excavator too. It makes it more interesting when these working machines are placed with the track workers at PW maintenance locations.
Here's a blue one as well, for the emergency services.
