Pub Grub

Post by wheeltapper on Tue Sep 20, 2011 5:35 pm

Get yer gnashers into som proper grub.

Ingredients: Grated potato, grated cheese, grated onion and a beaten egg. Salt n'pepper if liked.
Peel and grate some potatos, squeeze as much liquid out of them as you can and chuck 'em in a bowl. Ass a good helping of grated cheese and a little bit of grated onion. Add a beaten egg. Mix it all together then press out cakes in a burger press. Give the cakes 1.5 to 2 mins in the microwave to heat the middle properly, then fry VERY SLOWLY for 5 mins until completely
cooked and golden.
A sort of hash brown, I suppose, but really tasty.

Sounds like just the job after a night in the pub, in which case I recommend the wearing of protective gloves while grating.
Stumpy.
