Indeed, it is nice to have a support expressed in any way. Hopefully I will soon be able to pay something back. Smile Surprised

Thank you, Quork. The running costs on brnobve.eu seem to be covered for another year. It actually depends on how much will have to pay for the domain upon its renewal, the original proce was discounted. Just a quick heads up in case you are wondering.

Time's a bi... a practitioner of the ancient horizontal trade. January passed in no time, so I'm a bit late (I should avoid making this a habit, especially at work =D )

7.50€ each, as always.

February and March. With moves and children being financial factors it's 2*5€ for the Celts and 2*10€ for the Slavs Smile Small clarification/reminder: No I don't mind if any of that money is spent for anything else than BVE.

Many thanks, Quork. And you will be pleased to know I'm actually doing some more kilometres on the Welsh route at the  moment. Just stuck up a mountain, wondering where the sheep went??   Shocked

I would like to thank you as well. Smile  I hope I will be able to release an update to the route in the upcoming months, since the house moving has been almost completed. I need to have it done before the second big event becomes reality, since I am not too sure how much time the baby will leave me for my hobbies. Very Happy

Whoops Shocked Where did April, May and the best part of June go...?

What are your financial situations, could I please get a heads up so I can distribute my donations better?

Also - any other dev is welcome to hang in here if they also want a part in funding. I'm not restricting it to website costs strictly, if you have other costs with your development (photo tours for textures, books about vehicles, etc. etc. etc.) that also qualifies for support.

EDIT: Oh and a note for any possible self-appointed financial police... I am the sole and only person deciding, who gets how much and if s/he uses the money appropriately. Keep your nose out of things that are not your business. To be perfectly clear: This is none of your business.

It is nice to see that you care Smile. Any donation is and always will be a welcome bit something extra to the budget. For me, it usually pays for train tickets when looking for textures. I live quite close to the railway now, so the opportunities are good. Do not worry yourself about those mentioned months. Donations are voluntary after all and whenever you will decide to not donate, it will be your decision and it will be respected. Smile  Even if that happens, you are still the biggest and highly appreciated contributor.

First, thanks to Quork for his generosity in supporting celtictrainsim by donations.

Second,

And that's the way it should be. I'm content to leave all decisions regarding distribution and size of donations entirely and absolutely at the discretion of the donor.

I have extended the domain and hosting service a couple of months ago, an additional year of life has been given to my site. I am pleased to say that if I sum up the donations, they cover the running costs. Smile

On the occasion of Dex publishing his new bogie train I thought time has come to donate again. However, Dex has had problems with PayPal and cancelled their service, and the CTS donation button acts up again on me. So tell me please, how can I send both of you a tenner?

Thank you for your generosity. My running costs are currently covered, so you don't need to worry about that. Smile Honestly, I do not know what to use (if anything)... PayPal has been a bag of garbage lately, they kept limiting my account for no apparent reason, asking for my ID, passport, driver's license... (and it was proper Paypal, not a scam) and they have decided to turn my personal account into a business one without any warning and for no apparent reason, They can shove their shitty service up their ass.
Are there any alternatives at all?

There are, several of them. Never looked into the matter deeply though, so you should probably just Google for PayPal alternatives and see what suits you best. Or just post IBAN and BIC.

Re: List of Devs accepting Donations

A little bump to an old topic.

As some of you might know, my PayPal account has been an utter pain in the ass, as I have been urged to "UPDATE" or "SECURE" my details via doubtful emails and what not. So, I finally got my PayPal blocked for good, changed the card number and everything, so that should be sorted.
If anyone still wants to support me and help me with running costs, it is very simple. I am not asking for your money, just disable your AdBlock on my website (if you have AdBlock, that is) and let Google do the rest. You will be shown a commercial banner. If you want to support me more, click it, if not, just let it show. It is set up to not show any sensitive commercials, there should be no hazard, no sexual content, no alcohol. Hopefully it will work out well.
Thank you for reading. Smile

EDIT: PayPal has finally clarified what was the issue. I have it up and running again. Laughing
