Help for Gift Suggestions

Post by lonelyinardwick on Sat May 12, 2012 10:21 am

My Japanese teaching assistant's British VISA is near its expiration date, so she'll be returning to Japan on the 28th. I want to buy some gifts for her to thank her for the contribution. My type of idea of gifts was going to be British Railway, but I'm open to any other suggestions. What has Britain got to offer for her?

How about the "Doubledecker" tea, or the cookies - "Walkers" I think?

I think Bruce means crisps, which are fried thin potato slices often called chips. Cookies are biscuits that you have with tea like digestives and ginger.

A model double decker maybe...? That's something I once got as a souvenir from a friend who was there.
