BRSigs and BRSema4Sigs are dependencies needed by add-ons not just from TSC. UK___.dlls are for train developers who needs to fit their creations with AWS and other safety systems. TrainEditor in English is also for train developers, while PRP Generator is for route developers.

Most of these tools are for developers more than the typical player.

In summary, these miscellaneous are required by developers who are not put off from developing due to recent events. As much as TSC wishes to "NO PART WHAT SO EVER TO DO WITH BVE", uploading these files in a way helps keep this community alive by allowing developers access to tools they may need.

Why let the closure of a few sites lead to the stopping of active developers from developing? Isn't that a vicious cycle we need to break out of?

I will not remove these files, unless requested by the authors or forum administrator.

BR Sema4 sigs are by Simon Gathercole, who stipulates that they may NOT be distributed with a roue but must be downloaded from his approved web address.
BRsigs are by Steve Green. They were to be downloaded as a stand alone item originally. At one time I believe it was permitted to distribute them with a route, although it is by no means clear that this is still the case. In any event as the item is no longer offered for download it is not advisable to publicly distribute it. It is really a grey area, it would help if we could be certain if the BRsigs is an integral component of NWM or if it is classified as separate by its creator. Until this is established the item should not be treated as public property.

I have tried to contact Steve Green a few times, but never got any response; I wanted to offer him a cooperation and possibly even hosting for his work. During a talk I later had with Anthony Bowden I was informed that Steve Green was disgusted with the state of things in the community (who wouldn't be at that time) and he is still considering whether to continue or not.
I think this might be one of the factors that will help him make the following decision: Evil or Very Mad

LOCKED.
