Jubilee Spikes? Openbve

Post by stevewool on Wed Aug 27, 2014 12:44 pm

Hi all,

Im sure this has been mensioned before at some point, just thought i would check back in with this issue.
I have the Jubilee Line V2, it loads up fine and will run great, however i cant seem to get rid of the "spikes" on the roof of the tunnel, i have searched Google to no provail Sad, just wondered if anyone knew of a fix? or a patch of some sort? Like i say the route is fantastic and runs great, the spikes are rather annoying though! Also i have noticed videos on YouTube of the route being run in Openbve with no spikes, curious Question

Thanks for reading,

Cheers guys

Do you by any chance mean that the tube stations lose their cylinder shape on one half of the station object?

Hi Ad1992,
Thanks for your reply, that isnt the problem im afraid, the structure of all stations and tunnels are fine Smile what im seeing is huge black spikes that are around the roof of all tunnels and stations extending out towards the loco, i will try to get you a screen shot now

Cheers

That is exactly what I meant. This is because you have the old version that hasn't been converted. You need to download the newer openbve friendly route and then it will disappear.

The error you are seeing is basically a code design inconsistency. There was an older way of coding cylinders and as a result when Open loads the older cylinders, they look out of sorts.
